The painting and frame in its original splendour
Surface dirt, smoke deposits, and discoloured old varnish were removed from this painting. This revealed not only the true colours but also the good quality of the original paint used. Some minor surface damages were also repaired. Varnish then returned life to this painting, replacing the oils that were dried by time.
